Intradural Extramedullary Capillary Hemangioma of Spinal Cord: A Case Report and an Updated Review

Background and Importance: Capillary hemangiomas are benign tumors found on the skin soft tissues. They rarely present as an intradural spinal tumor. Common differential diagnosis methods schwannoma, hemangioblastoma, metastasis, paragangliomas. Case Presentation: We report a case of 38-year-old female with complaints lower backache radiation to limbs, in which magnetic resonance imaging revealed tumor compressing cauda equina nerve roots, arising from L3 level. The patient underwent L2-L3 laminectomy excision preservation roots. Conclusion: Histopathology suggested capillary hemangioma improved symptomatically no recurrence has been reported date.
